Our family
January 2020 |
When we purchased this property in 2008, it was ridiculously overgrown and under-maintained, it still is really, but baby steps.... We decided we needed some goats to help with all the brush, so a friend offered to give us some pygmy crosses, and we dove into the crazy goat world in early 2009. At some point along the way I (Michalah) realized that I wanted more than just weed-eaters, and I decided to switch over to registered Nigerians, so we sold our pygmy herd and I bought my first Nigerians in 2012. The goats are primarily my venture, but Ben is the sole fence builder and disbudder, and my right-hand man at shows. We have three human kids, a son, Neo (12), and two daughters, Laylie (10) and Anaiah (9), who I home-school between milkings. I have to make a serious effort to keep my herd relatively small, as the human kids require so much time and energy.

I do continue to maintain a FB site, HOWEVER, due to FB's increasing opression, I cannot post goats for sale there.
